Permission, a Life Lesson

Permission, a Life Lesson

A Poem by Botania

I held aloft the wash of locks
the colloidal form to wash in warm
then realized the reason why
it wouldn't flow, its lack of go
was in compression without the air
behind to push from pressure there
applied upon yet by compression
lack of pressure cause suppression.
I gently held the pliant shape
compressed it thus as to inflate
with fresh new air to fill it up
then pushed with care into my cupped
hands that then did realize
new air is needed to materialize
the push within from pressure too,
the lesson learned from mere shampoo.
