Wide Open Fields

Wide Open Fields

A Poem by Botania

You are a field of greenest grass
lush in the valley
from melting snow.
You are the smell of pine
as the breeze whistles
through hushed branches
the sweetest
smell
on
earth.
You are the warmest blanket
that caresses and heals
this wounded
aching heart.
You are the stars that shine
and dance
in a sky full of wonder
and mystery.
And I
am yours
as each
experience
floods
my being
profoundly.
