I Shall

I Shall

A Poem by Botania
"

I shall find repose and peace falling into slumber on your shoulder
for I will know the beating of your warm and grateful heart. You
will quell all my fears, taking my hand and holding it. I shall look
into your eyes and know that everything will be alright. Radiant
warmth will be ours. Gone will be the cold that besieges me, gone
will be the long, empty nights of nothingness. Happy will be my
heart as it beats completely with yours. I shall not worry about
tomorrow for you are with me.

there is warmth, love and companionship in all of these later poems you are writing....

as children we depend on being held by our parents, as we grow older we are held by friends, by lovers...and there is warmth and contentment in how we feel....but, eventually, only one person can make us feel okay...each of us will have to do that on our own.
