What I mean when I say; "I love you"

My attempt at a love poem

I just want to clarify

What I mean when I say

I Love You

Because I'm not just

Speaking words in vain

I'm making a commitment 

To spend everyday

Letting you know

There's nothing above you

To let you know

That I don't want to be

Just another guy in your life

I'm planning Husband and Wife

I'm saying you can draw the shade

and pull the curtains

But if I'm waking up 

Next to your smile

I'm still waking up because

The room is too bright.

And this is much more 

Than physical attraction

You see I love you

Like the faithful

love their Deities 

So in a few years 

If you start looking like Buddha 

Baby, we can still get freaky

Because in the temple of my heart

You won't change a bit

In there your Beauty is Eternal

And at alter of you is where I'll plant my knees

Because this cleansing inferno 

They call love is the only thing I need
