The Rainbow GirlA Poem by GlamGirlBringing color to the worldThe rainbow girl, Walking through town with a smile on her face, bringing color to the world. The rainbow girl, bringing RED. The color of her bright lipstick, and the color of her heart. She had a big heart, always sharing it with everyone. The rainbow girl, bringing ORANGE Her favorite popsicle flavor. And the color of the sky, when she finally left your house. The
rainbow girl, bringing
YELLOW. There
were always rays of sunlight following
her. It was also the natural color of her hair, always pulled up into a ponytail. The rainbow girl, bringing GREEN. The color of the grass as she ran through barefoot. Saving water, Helping animals, Not polluting, Recyling, the color of her mindset. The rainbow girl, bringing BLUE. Splashing through the waves during the hottest days of the
summer. It was the color of her calm
mood, she was never upset or angry. The rainbow girl, bringing PURPLE. The color of the grapes and plums she would sell at our door on Sundays, for a dollar each. Ask her what her favorite color is, she’d say clear, Letting all the colors shine through. © 2011 GlamGirlAuthor's Note
