Where Should I Start?

Where Should I Start?

A Poem by GlamGirl
"

All stories have a beginning.

"

Where should I start?

All stories have a beginning.

Should I start at the first glance?

When you looked at me

across the room.

Our eyes met for long enough

to know that something

had started.

Should I start at the first touch?

Just a simple handshake.

Still, it was a stone in this

pyramid of love.

Should I start at the first date?

A trip to the local theatre.

You put your arm around me,

and gave me your jacket

when I got cold.

Should I start at the first kiss?

Short and romantic,

I think it was a first for

both of us.

Wait, I think I know.

I’ll start when we both

smiled at each other while

sitting under the stars,

and said those famous three words,

I love you.

Wow, the ever so famous boy meets girl story, captured in a new light. I love the simplicity of it, the truth of it... nice :)

I love the sincerity, the hope, and the innocence in this. Love was immediate, pure, and simple, and it leaves me with optimism that it will continue to stay that way through whatever trials these two might face. Very warm and uplifting. I enjoyed it very much. :)

The memories need to be written down. Some gifts of love and new open doors of love need to be remembered. I like the way you wrote this poem. The steps of love need to be slow and easy. So you can enjoy every emotion and touch. Thank you for a outstanding poem.
