Desperado

Desperado

A Poem by Harubatz
"

A lonely ranger wandering the phantom of emptiness

"

Shrouded in the veil of solitude,

Careless whispers verbalized in depth of agony

Comport with my foolish, yet bold ambition.

Trying to get rid of the haunting sound,

I shall wander beyond the horizon of emptiness,

Yet, only guilty conscience pierces through my futile effortfulness.

Left with vain and sorrow,

And a phrase “I should have known better”,

I only blame myself in hope of alleviation.

Darkness and ignorance say time flies,

But my excruciating grief keeps breaking its wings.

Wherefore I be.

For I be the one I wish to be,

I be a Desperado,

The wandering ranger of loneliness,

Hunting down the pieces of memories,

Drinking a glass of blood,

Listening to a rhapsody of bloody blades,

Dancing under the gloomy moonlight of sadness,

Tearing down the hopeful future and the regretful past

All in all in hope for redemption
