DesperadoA Poem by HarubatzA lonely ranger wandering the phantom of emptinessShrouded
in the veil of solitude, Careless
whispers verbalized in depth of agony Comport
with my foolish, yet bold ambition.
Trying
to get rid of the haunting sound, I
shall wander beyond the horizon of emptiness, Yet,
only guilty conscience pierces through my futile effortfulness.
Left
with vain and sorrow, And
a phrase “I should have known better”, I
only blame myself in hope of alleviation.
Darkness
and ignorance say time flies, But
my excruciating grief keeps breaking its wings.
Wherefore
I be. For
I be the one I wish to be, I
be a Desperado, The
wandering ranger of loneliness, Hunting
down the pieces of memories, Drinking
a glass of blood, Listening
to a rhapsody of bloody blades, Dancing
under the gloomy moonlight of sadness, Tearing
down the hopeful future and the regretful past All
in all in hope for redemption © 2015 Harubatz |
