Pandemonium

Pandemonium

A Poem by Harubatz
"

Alas

"

                 Pondering over the matter of time, the chaos appears;

                                    The faint memories buzz around my heart and mind.

                                    Regretting over the behaviors of the past, the sea of tears appears;

                                    The reminiscence conjured up by the tears only blow up my mind.

                                    Although I dare attempt to approach the red curtains on the wall,

                                    My hands covered with sins and my feet coated with implacable pains

                                    Do not even move fairly well, as though they fear of the sullen wall.

                                    Thus do I dream of the hope that one day the light will alleviate my pains

                                    Of my feet and swill my hands by pouring the blessings of the night stars.

                                    Even so, my sins might not be eradicated, and my pains might not be

                                    Soothed; however, I'm not intimidated because I see the night stars.

                                    The night stars might betray, but I wouldn't feel lost like the losing-flower bee.

                                    It's been ten years since I chose to accompany this morose doom;

                                    Inasmuch as light goes faster than the doom, I'll be with the doom.
