Eve and Day

Eve and Day

A Poem by Harubatz
"

In this serene scene of swift scent.

"

One day, Eve looked for Day, and Day looked for Eve.

Eve loved Day, and Day also loved Eve sincerely.

Even so, the nature and fate hated Eve and Day.

The sun was jealous of Eve and the moon envied of Day.

Solitude of a wild flower loathed Eve, and loved Day.

Enthusiasm of zephyr loved Eve, yet abhorred Day.

Thus, Eve was too far away from Day to reach.

Wind carried their hearts, and told their real hearts truly.

The gloomy clouds began to soak the wind.

And, now, even the dispatcher of their hearts had disappeared.

Eve loved Day truly, and Day loved Eve sincerely.

They had to sustain the desire for each other.

                        Nonetheless, Day's desire couldn't be resisted;

Nevertheless, Eve's wish couldn't be withheld.

Thus, Day was Evening  and Eve was Daying.

In their genuine love, the new good-hearted

Rainbow only accompanied Day in the sky.

Being admired by the god of nature.

So, the Day was glad, and the Eve was depressed.
