love but not as you know it

love but not as you know it

A Poem by George turner
"

i rant about love. also while the genre is set as romance that's more because i couldn't really find a suitable genre than this being romantic

"
love ... i hate that word it has become meaningless
its thrown around to much
and now people say it carelessly
they say they love the muffin they hold

that isn't love

love is when you feel so much for someone
that you would rather your own heart stop beating
than for them to disapear forever
it means you care for them more than you care for yourself

that is love

it is the most beautiful  and the most ugly thing i know
the most painful and the most euphoric
the most amazing and the most terrible
and defining it is far beyond my abilities

perhaps love is different for everyone
but this is my version of love
