An AngelA Poem by samie05An
Angel told me that I was precious As
precious as diamonds, so luminous But
that Angel wore a magnificent disguise That
only filled his heart with dark filled lies The
disguise he wore fooled damn little me Because
it blinded me of what I should really see The
raven’s wings was his shielding cape To
cover light’s good hope for his own good sake If
only you didn’t used such a beautiful mask To
fool an angel like to crave so much of your lust Should
God punish his angel who loves someone who is loved by hate Or
let us be to decide our own troubling fate? Devils
were once Angels like me but choose to leave And
stay in the hearts of murderers, cheaters and thieves But
why would a Devil love an Angel like me? Perhaps
he tires of hate and learn to love little me But
not all expectations will come true or be realize Because
all my heart’s hope were just really dirty lies He
said he loves an Angel which was me But
he tires of hoping, which is a sad reality His
love moved to another Angel much better than I Whose
beauty is more enchanting than a simple lullaby She
returned his love and he returned back to heaven And
because of that, she was considered a heroine And
so an Angel like me, sinned something so great For
not giving love to someone who is full of hate And
so I leave my heaven with a broken heart Not
bother to say good bye as I simply depart © 2010 samie05Author's Note
