Confusion

Confusion

A Poem by samie05
"

A poem about confusion and praying for a love returned

"
Is he the one? Is he for me?
Is he the gift God sent to me?
Or am I simply dreaming with open eyes
And entertain myself with beautiful lies?

I don't want to be confuse nor hope for nothing,
I want to feel like a bride ready for her ring.
I don't want to wake up in the nightmare called reality
Where there are no fairy tale endings only sad tragedy

Oh God, dear Lord, please tell me he's the one
Tell me if he's my star, my moon or my morning sun
Please tell me now to save me from regret
So I can move on with my life and simply forget

My heart had been shattered a hundred times before
And I don't know if I could take another one anymore
My eyes had shed tears like there's no tomorrow
And my soul had felt pain, sadness and even sorrow

Why do I bother myself with something like this?
Why do I worry when I know I'll never be his?
Can I return to the life before I met him?
When I was living my life and how boring it seem?

At first I was under the impression you were talking about a new born baby boy, not a lover. But it is very well written, you've got a sort of fresh way about writing about a topic as worn out as love sickness. Congrats
