Poem of Dedication

I remember long ago

When I was a young girl,

When innocence captured

A whole other world.

A Braveheart by kin,

From Scotland he came;

To honor his badge

Against modern day pain.

The one man I looked up to

And always adored…

Gave me courage and strength

To be so much more.

He taught me how to fight

And stand up for myself,

He knew what it meant

To believe in yourself.

This man was my hero

And protector of me,

His name was William Wallace

My Father you see.
