A Losing Battle

A Losing Battle

A Poem by SuperVaish

Emptiness fills me up.
Stranded alone and breathless,
I wonder why?
Feel like I'm drowning,
give up, let it go.
Allow it to swallow me, wash over
every inch of me until
I feel no longer.
Nothing matters, makes no sense.
Bearing on me like guilt, holds me
down, till I can fight no more.
I search for another like me,
someone to care, to hug, to love.
I never accept, I am alone.
Don't want to fight, don't
want to hold on.
Endlessly forcing feelings, thoughts,
anything to make it stop.
This is my life.
A long, sorrow journey.
