Grandma

Just felt like writing a poem about my Grandma who I have been thinking a lot about lately. She is in a care home and it isn't the best place she'd like to be. That makes me sad. I wish I could be there to take care of her.

 

Giving, giving all the time even when you have nothing left

 

Remembering the time we shared throughout my 30 years here

 

Asking you to rub my back with those special soft hands of yours

 

Never wishing to lose you, always wanting you close by in my life

 

Dear Grandma, I think about you everyday, and wish I could hug you tight

 

Miss you more than anything and I know I’ll see you again soon

 

Always a special place in my heart that know one can fill but you, Grandma

Aww..this is a very nice well thought out poem! Grandma's are special. I miss mine alot. She died of colon cancer. Everyone should hug thier grandma while they can!
