Pain of Love

Pain of Love

A Poem by Amanda Dawn Sanderson-Greer

the pain you bring me

is not a pain of heartache

but a pain of love

the understanding

of what this love means to me

is too powerful

never shall i love

the way i'm in love with you

a constant hunger

the pain you bring me

is not a pain of heartache

but a pain of love

Pretty much wraps up that feeling when you feel so in tune with somebody that just the smell of them get you runnin' and gunnin'. I think there are people who are so physical a match for us genetically that just their presence wields a power stronger than just love....its in the gut I think. Nice write.

Love has magic powers and a harmomy all its own, yet also pain has a place deep within true love's emotions ~ nicely expressed here and well penned!

And love is a pain, so intensely so! You master that here love and this is brilliantly conveyed! I like this a lot...superbly thought out and resonates, love is a battle, like every other thing in life! Awesome! xx

The pain of love, oh how I remember and dream of it so. It's truly magical to be 'in love', and experience the heartache that comes with it! Anyway, very nicely done!

Ha ha! ;D
Poignant, every line laced and corsetted with the pain taken on willingly...

i just love the repetition. makes your point stressed and understood. so uncanny of you to say that there's also a pain of loving too much. excellent work!

strong sentiments here - the idea - sometimes pain is born from the best of things - the pain of love - the aching and longing - searching - the constant hunger! well expressed and written! nice!!

I like this! It shows all kinds of love, for sometimes we do love and it can be so painful being it feels like a deep stabbing in the heart. Your imagery was right on for been there, done it, and thank the Lord, done with it! lol

Way to go.

Mags xx

Thats really amazing! I love it!! Its so true about loving someone and the pain we will feel, very beautiful. I believe the pain isn't as bad as the real one, sweet, nice job! Also, I love the way you repeat the first staza to the last one,
wonderful!
