Missing herA Poem by giovannym
I miss her like the still ethereal night sky light
that swallows my eyes, A glimmer and delicate lamp cradling my emotions through everlasting cries, A remembrance of our passion and adoration condensed into intricate satchels grouped into a saturated fog, Each memory satchel embracing an filament of Ineffable glee and the fog surrounding a deep rooted oak tree, Saturated drops of memories stream down my face leaving pathways of bittersweet accounts resonating without place, A drop touched my lips having me once again taste her succulent smile the one she shyly gave me the first time she felt my hand a long while, A drop in my eyes visualized the vibrant spectrum of colors interweaving like a colorful spiral of a rainbows twisted together immaculately to a splendid long summer dress at our favorite restaurant and table she wore it with finesse, A drop touched my ear hearing her cachinnate playfully and I belong with her charming lilt tracing my being with brushes fabricated from her song, The wood on the tree being redolent of the old mountain cabin her favorite collection of slices of childhood mountain life a place she heard the coming snowfall the sound of the chilling breeze whistling through the pine threes bringing with it an awakening of purity The fog began to lift, the light still cradling her spirit, my eyes could feel her heart as my mind placed a visit, I could still feel her as she and I are one the same © 2015 giovannym |
