A Coffie Stain on the Pages of My Reality

A Coffie Stain on the Pages of My Reality

A Poem by Virginia L. Wyatt
"

I like metaphors =)

"

A book I am forced to read

Some parts are boring, others I can't stop reading

Every one in a while the teacher will give us a test

Only we haven't been taught the lesson yet

Not very fair if you ask me

Some of the chapters I wish I could skip

I'm not interested in heartbreak and hatred

I want to read about falling in love and fullfilling dreams

But no

There is always something that screws up my story

Once I'm done reading the class is over

I could stop reading but then I would fail

You can't retake the class if I fail

I don't want to read but I don't want to fail either

Everyone's book is different

I wish I could trade with some of them

I think i got gypt

The only thing I can do now is keep reading

And hope for a happy ending.

Very nicely done and very symbolic of life... many times we face new challenges that we are never prepared for... they can be great life lessons and sometimes adventurous... life had no instruction manual. I like your style, very creative.
