A series of mixed metaphors on the subject of economics

A series of mixed metaphors on the subject of economics

A Poem by gingerfella

Being lifted on the horns of a bull is preferable

To the mauling of a bear

Market forces ride a black horse

But leave oil and wine untouched

An economy becomes something magical

Distant, beyond our control

The weather

A fall is a tornado

The levies break.

But it’s all just people

People pay more, people pay less.

A rise.  A drop.

A collapse.

We’re left looking for Bletchley

To unravel the Delaware Code.
