Tuesday is the cleanest day

Is doesn’t have the baggage the rest of the week brings

Wednesday owns the middle of the week

Mittwoch, humpday to some

Friday is Friday, welcome to the weekend

Thank god it’s Friday

Monday, oh god it’s Monday

Oh god, please no, it’s Monday again

Saturday and Sunday, do I need to say

The weekend

Saturday is the greatest day, the day we can be ourselves

And Sunday is the day of rest, the day of quiet ITV dramas

Thursday is close, but it holds the promise of the next day

But Tuesday is clean.  Tuesday is the day to use when writing

Maybe I should keep that to myself

Or it may become just another 37.
