By herself she's not alone.

By herself she's not alone.

A Poem by I Speak Begonias.

The sounds reach the back of her neck like a cool breath.
The flesh rises down her naked back.
Laughter spills across the wall and mixes with music, the colors run together.
She glides her hands through the rush, shakes her head to the beat, breathes in just right, breathes out in time.
The shadow of her hands reach out for her, caress her smooth skin.
She tugs at her hair in gentle rhythm.
Her shadowed arms wrap around her bare body, press in places she'd forgotten, gently shake her awake.
The music runs down her stomach, her legs, the floor as she moves to the laughter.
Her world is soundproof, but she still laughs.
