Precious Memories

Precious Memories

A Poem by Gina

It was a big shinny day

And he was right there

Sitting in his chair, I say

Like a big father bear

He liked to tease one of them

It was his youngest little girl

Both girls really loved him

Because they were like a pearl

He would always ask;

"How many eyes do you have?"

And when she finished her task

She said "Eight and a half!"

That was the best memory

I have of my father

It's like a piece of precious Ivory

And its at the top of my ladder
