Connection's Rhymes

Connection's Rhymes

A Poem by Gilad Levanon
"

Love the person, not their profile.

"
She wears a delicate smile,
Tinged with mischief and a gleam of mystery,
She has a sarcastic playful style,
And a glimmer of long-forgotten misery,

Her interests and hobbies differ to mine,
Yet we get along teasing one another,
Somehow we get along just fine,
Between us we tease with every facetious line,
Yet we are a united team against every other,

It is not her details that intrigue me,
It is those details that I always tease,
I'm not really interested in her CV,
We are coexistent chalk and cheese,

I do not love a person's list of pastimes,
I have learnt to love the spirit within,
The real energy that makes up a person,
For it is that in people that makes connection's rhymes...

Interesting and truthful write. We should love one another or our personalities and what beaut lies within on the inside, not just by our looks. Wonderfully written. Nicely done.

I'm interested in finding the ultimate question. I know the answer's 42 but "What is six times seven?" doesn't satisfy me. more..
