Often I hear talk of a person's smile as if it is a singular object
In truth a smile is one of countless moments that tell a story about a person

Stories such as how they look when

Trying to hold back laughter from the perfect joke, or

Stealing glances at a person they admire deeply

When celebrating the joy of even the smallest victories, or

Brightly greeting the people who are dear to their heart

When they're overcome by excitement for simple pleasures, or

Feeling the impact of a compliment that made it past their walls

A smile is one of countless moments that tell a story about a person
In truth, these will always be the moments that I treasure above all others
