  Love’s Odyssey

Brave was he, the guardian of trust, power, and dreams,

True to his word, true to his life - loyal till his death,

He went forth a boy and emerged a man - so shall the knight be born,

Riding and living by a sworn oath to defend and fight for the kingdom.

He loved, as fiercely as he fought - for honor, for throne, for her,

Tempered steel molded and forged from the fiery hot flames,

Shapeless at first, viciously refined, crafted into a sleek blade,

His sword was born while the fire danced slowly over it.

He journeyed through the realms, seeking only to find his destiny,

Traveling beyond the ancient door only to be lost in the mist,

Darkness swirled within his memories, his fears, and his hopes,

There was no turning back from his quest for love’s odyssey.

The hunter, the shadow, riding alone he disappears into the night,

Heart pounding, he stood his ground when eye to eye he faced the devil,

With a single stroke of his blood smeared blade, he ended the life of the beast,

Onward to faraway places he does travel, down the weary trail.

He is worthy of the fellowship, this brave warrior with a heart of a true champion,

Living up to the oath, he is bound and he shall never complain,

Always willing to make the sacrifice for the values he was taught,

Sworn to wage battle across the world, all for the love and heart of his queen....
