We Are Infinity

We forgot each other, the couple we were, the couple we could be,

Feeling lost in our pain, seeking the truth of what love is,

This weekend I found strength to begin a new journey - to find faith,

I found a reason to reshape my dreams, my hopes, and to hold my head high.

Let's not falter or go astray, let's not lose sight of how we can grow,

I know it's hard to trust when I have hurt you so many times,

So together let's silence the angry thunder of regret and constant reminders,

Listen and follow my heart, feel my patience, stay as my soul awakens to peace.

Let's spend a little more time together as we rediscover one another,

Hold my hand, squeeze it tight - let yourself feel the wonderful emotions,

As they escape through the smile that I brought to you with my words,

Never give up on my commitment, on my belief - never give up on us.

I am excited, I am anxious, and I am delighted to let you in completely,

Let's love each other’s imperfections, and chase away the demons from the darkness,

Never apologizing for our doubts, our concerns as we wait to find forever,

I know love takes time to heal, to mend, to lead us away from tragedy,

As we remember that individually we have our own identity, and together we are infinity....

In my recent experience, people are not willing to admit they’re wrong or to apologize or to sincerely beg for another chance. It seems the typical modus operandi is to walk away from a situation without explanation or even “goodbye.” (I’m very much guilty of this too). So it’s kinda refreshing to see your message of supplication here and I’m sure this would feel good to hear if the other person is open to being wooed. Your words are crafted in a way that couldn’t be put in a more sincere & heartfelt way. You’re trying your best to coax & convince. There are times when I wished someone would’ve done this. But now I’ve grown so jaded in life, I’m not sure such messages are effective. Maybe it feels good to write this, but I’m wondering if would be a bother to the other person. I’m saying this generally, as many relationships go, not commenting on your own personal reason for writing this! Hopefully it does the trick it’s intended to do!?!?! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
