We Are Infinity

We forgot each other, the couple we were, the couple we could be,

Feeling lost in our pain, seeking the truth of what love is,

This weekend I found strength to begin a new journey - to find faith,

I found a reason to reshape my dreams, my hopes, and to hold my head high.

Let's not falter or go astray, let's not lose sight of how we can grow,

I know it's hard to trust when I have hurt you so many times,

So together let's silence the angry thunder of regret and constant reminders,

Listen and follow my heart, feel my patience, stay as my soul awakens to peace.

Let's spend a little more time together as we rediscover one another,

Hold my hand, squeeze it tight - let yourself feel the wonderful emotions,

As they escape through the smile that I brought to you with my words,

Never give up on my commitment, on my belief - never give up on us.

I am excited, I am anxious, and I am delighted to let you in completely,

Let's love each other’s imperfections, and chase away the demons from the darkness,

Never apologizing for our doubts, our concerns as we wait to find forever,

I know love takes time to heal, to mend, to lead us away from tragedy,

As we remember that individually we have our own identity, and together we are infinity....
