Ever since I was a teenager I had been searching,

Looking for a place to call home,

I've been lost inside, wandering blindly, with no direction,

Wanting some place, somewhere to call home, where I belong.

Then you came into my life and in that moment, I just knew,

I don't understand all the reasons why,

But I know that you're the only one meant for me,

And I can't imagine life without you having all my heart,

Which you've had all of since day one.

Your eyes, your smile, your warmth makes you irreplaceable,

And any memory I have of you keeps my soul from feeling vacant,

My love for you continues to grow and I hope it will never die,

You have been etched into the core of my world,

Where I was meant to find you, where you give me hope and fight,

Together we fit like a lock & key....

Just beautiful- I agree totally like a lock and key - that would be the best cut key for me to also find that one that unlocks your heart that you have loved from the start- finding that place in that person that you can call home- the road has been long- but the outcome will be eternity- great write- straight from your heart🌹

i like the symbol lock and key, locking your heart represents love and faithfulness and the key to open the heart which means love and affection.. will always be a good combination
