Fantasy and Dreams

Once upon a timeless oblivion we shall call fairy-tales,

Came enchanted stories that were found and shared within books,

You may have read about kings on thrones wielding their reign of power,

We'll see a princess and her kingdom with faithful knights and days of the roundtable,

Look closely at castles and draw bridges with motes and dragons galore.

We have fables of Atlantis with gods like Neptune, along with his magical mermaids,

Riding upon waves within their realm, leading men to their watery graves,

There will be beautiful goddesses and witches and wizards who cast their spells,

You'll see dainty fairies and unicorns and rainbows - even winged Pegasus too.

Now legends tell of far off quests deep into the dark forest where ogres and gnomes live,

Under the moon's glow and the majestic beams from heaven's constellation of fallen wishes,

You'll witness Romeo & Juliet with one last kiss before they collapse into each other’s arms,

We'll meet Frodo, Pippin and Bilbo too, as we share a fictional world of Middle Earth.

If you are a dreamer, is reality yours to believe - is it yours for the taking?

Just remember dreams are momentary and beautiful as you return here to the real world,

So, before you sail into the sunset of mythical times and imaginary thoughts - this is just a lore,

As you drift through this land of night where stardust and memories are only fantasy and dreams....

Wonderful use of words and thoughts.

Those might only be dreams but many more are awaiting to be found- all things are possible if you allowbthe dreams of the heart to awake- there’s a magical world wishing each of us waiting to be released- wonderful words🌹

the idealistic side of you shows my friend sometimes its kind of hard to separate fantasy with reality but that is how it is

it does because they are both works of the subconscious which we try to hide during the time that we are awake or in motion.
