BatgirlA Poem by Ghost By day, she is a quiet librarian from Gotham City
Libraries, She is the warm-hearted daughter of commissioner
James Gordon, Her identity - Barbara Gordon, educated in
library science, But beneath it all she has dark secrets, ones
no-one should know. After the sun sets, hidden in the darkness that
falls upon the city, Appears a mysterious woman in a skin-tight
costume - clinging to her curves, Her cape resembles the wings of a bat, like the
one she wears upon her chest, Her beautiful eyes and stunning features, her
identity - hidden behind a mask. She prowls the shady streets of Gotham, the
playground of formidable foes, Becoming one of crime's worthy opponents- who
fights like a woman scorned, Clawing, kicking, fighting - she battles for
humanities justice, Using fear to overcome the likes of the Joker,
the Riddler, and the Penguin. She stands for liberty, justice and will serve
and protect helping the law, Standing strong yet feminine, as she transforms
into the gorgeous heroine, Going above and beyond the shadows of the night -
when she takes to the skies, Yes - in time the face behind her mask may
change, but whomever - she will always be Batgirl.... 3/9/2018 © 2018 GhostFeatured Review
