Dandelion Wishes

Dandelion Wishes

A Poem by Ghost

Dandelion Wishes

Over the dewy lush green meadow sides,

Are scattered golden treasures with soft petals of unequaled color,

Bright, soft downy hues of yellows,

There to greet and bedazzle our view.

But all too soon they become temporary treasures,

Turning into white balls of silky fluff,

That ride upon the soft spring winds,

And Float into someone’s hands for a magical wish.

Look to the spring skies and you too may find your fluff of dreams,

Drifting upon the breeze,

To pollinate yet another spawn for future growth,

Bringing into bloom a new meadow of dandelion wishes….

I close my eyes and see a sea of yellow. You have painted a striking picture here for us all to enjoy on cold days such as this.......Neville
