Time in a Bottle

Time in a Bottle

A Poem by Ghost

Time in a Bottle

Time heals all wounds,

Where pain and scars are just a measurement between ticks,

And heartbeats are the only delay between love,

As every second fades into an eon.

The only value of life is time,

Flowing out, free and fragile,

Like grains of sand,

Pouring through tomorrow’s hour glass.

Moments are suspended in dance,

As the hands of the clock wind down,

Months, years, and eternity are not impossible,

If you freeze your dreams into solitary seconds, minutes, or hours,

And place them in a bottle of endless time...

For my dreams
I want a safe
The bottle is too small
