The voyage back

The voyage back

A Poem by Ghost

The voyage back

Let me be the lamp piercing your darkness,

Pulling your heart through the haunted sea of love,

Where your soft silence,

Always spills over the shoreline of sand.

I may never know what runs in the rivers of your soul,

As secrets travel to places faraway,

Flowing like waves that crash on an endless ocean,

Adrift your words speak to my heart.

Let me be your unspoken security navigating you into port,

Guiding you like a whisper and a prayer,

As I stand tall like a looming cypress tower,

Upholding and guarding against the waves that thunder at my base.

The ocean this night swallows two hearts,

Passing like beacons on the sea,

Gliding adrift where distance shall not keep them apart,

Let me be your ray of light helping you to set anchor, on the beach of our memories…

I hope you find the heart that lets you guide and lead the way - but just don’t outshine the light they hold as two streams become one - both lead and complete the circle - endless hoop of love and light together travelling as one, lovely words🌹
