waking thirst

a good cup of coffee

waking in the gloom,

of midafternoon,

 

twisted amongst the

chaos of naked silk sheets,

 

it's to hot for coffee,

yet,

I have the craving thirst of a

1000 year old,

vampire,

 

my veins cry for the

roasted,

perculated,

bean.

 

my senses yearn for the soft,

intoxicating aroma,

waifting,

towards me.

 

a shudder of pleasure,

the rythm of my

slowly

beating heart,

 

a relaxing sigh

of relief,

 

gazing thoughtfully,

into the eternal blackness

at the bottom of the cup,

 

thinking

 

god coffee is good.

Coffee can be addicting, can't it? That's why I don't drink any, because its addictive. Also, I am still not used to the Bitterness of the beans used.

Hahaaaaaa! yes! I'm so addicted myself. Once, I was late for an appointment, I passed a Starbucks, backed up and went in. I came out empty handed and this guy who was sitting by the door asked why. I told him I was late, so I just stopped in for a quick smell to hold me till I could come back. He laughed laughed loudly and shook his head! (: putting this in my library!
