Men of changeA Story by GHISA tale of the travels and adventures of the men and women of Relan. You follow young Allahn and has master Quelon. These two are wizards of a sort in the world of Sei. Witness the magic of this world.Chapter 1
"Allahn of Relan...... That will be my name in not so far off future." He thought to himself. He only had four years left under his his master. He had started his apprenticeship the day he turned twelve years old, and though he had enjoyed the time so far, he would be happy for it to end. He was now in his sixth year under the esteemed Master Quelon Ohlomos. When he was not in training his master was a fine, lenient, calm and a level headed man, but during Allahn’s lessons his master was a fierce teacher who taught very thoroughly. Allahn had broken bones, torn flesh and had lost hope of completing his training many times. Yet, just when he thought he would give up or perish from exhaustion, his master would pick up his spirits or mend his wounds or just let him rest. It had been a long hard six years, and they had hardened Allahn into a strong, confident and powerful young man. He looked up at the clouds as he steadily progressed. It was a nice warm day, and the sister world was high in the sky for all to see. The world above him looked as though their weather was also well. It was bright and colorful, he could see many features that adorned the landscape of the far away land in the sky. The blue of it’s oceans, and the dark of the mountains were only a small part of the almost artistically beautiful view. He noticed that much like his own world, it had similar plains of vivid green and huge rivers that snaked across the lands. There were even large deserts of golden yellow that were scorched onto the face of the planet. Nobody knew much about the planet that rested so closely to their own, and out of respect they called it the sister world. Many people had tried to reach out to the sister world, but all had failed. To the known world nobody had ever set foot on the sister world for the means to make the journey had not yet been conceived. No matter how little they knew of the world it still decorated the sky nicely. Allahn returned his attention to the road ahead. It had been a long way from where his last travels took him. His master had last sent him on a venture to the south to assist some villagers in crises.Allahn had normally been accompanied by his master, but recently he had been sent on tasks alone. Since he had come into his sixth year his master had started to stress how important it was to be able to think on his own and not need a teacher to guide his hand. He said that people need to have confidence in the person helping them. He had traveled to a village that sat outside of the borders of Bahlanag. These villagers were having problems with drought and rouge men who had turned to thievery and amung other things. These were no longer considered men of Relan. These men were now called Utura. The Utura were no longer interested in helping the people of the land. Since Relan was the word for change, they abandoned the title for something more fitting of their wrong doings. The word Utura was discovered to be the word for Habit in the old tongue. Not only did they start to take to this title, the real Relan started calling them that as well. The Utura are always looking for ways to harm the people of Sei. They often operated from the darkness of shadow and usually killed just for the thrill of it. Allahn had faced two on his previous endeavors to the south. They were killing and taking supplies from anybody that they crossed paths with. This was not Allahn’s first venture alone ,but he still had troubles without his master. Now that he was returning home he was happy knowing that he would see him once again. After about a weeks worth of walking on his way back ,Allahn was weary and closing slowly back home. He had just passed through the hills of Lynn and the plains came into view. The plains of Bahlanag stretched out far ahead of him to the north. This made his journey seem so much shorter. Even though he had about a day or two left of walking he felt a sharp spike of drive. He observed the plains with a grateful eye as he descended the last hill onto the vast plains. It was all so tranquil. They were separate and secluded from the other more busy places of the world, which is just how Allahn's master liked things. His first step onto the green grass seem to attract a soft wind that swept down and rustled all the grass as it blew away from him to the north across the fields. Allahn stopped and took a deep breath. " Finally home at last." he sighed as he leaned against his walking stick. He started again and could only admire the scenery. He pressed on north until the sun had all but vanished over the horizon of solid green. He stopped for the night by a few trees that had by fate come to dot the landscape here. He got a fire started and dropped quickly into sleep. He woke in the morning and continued on just as he had the day before. He was actually progressing faster than he thought he would. He reached the Modest river at midday. He stopped and rested with his feet dipped in the rushing water. Allahn had realized that he would reach his destination by nightfall at this pace. After a swift soak in the river he dressed and continued onward. He began to see small plumes of smoke as he came within sight of the happy village that sat close to his master’s cottage. As he came closer he saw herds of livestock grazing diligently. They were unaware of the world around them. Farther past the pastures was the village. He let out a large smile thinking about the villagers. They were such nice people. They all loved one another as though they were kin. Allahn thoroughly enjoyed what he was becoming. He loved helping people almost as much as they enjoyed being helped. He also relished the opportunity to meet new people, or to learn something new. He was truly an epitome of an eager young man of the people.
He entered the village with a glow about him. Everyone he passed by recieved a smile or a wave. He steadily progressed through the village with a renewed sense of accomplishment. The sun was making its decline behind the horizon once again when Allahn had finally laid eyes on his master's cottage.Since the day he arrived there he had always thought that the cottage was so firmly nestled in the land. It was a small simple two story cotage. It now looked almost as old as it actually was. Allahn's master had been taught here ,and now he was teaching Allahn. There were many generations that had been taught here and now he was taking his part in this subtle legacy. He thought of all the times he had been beaten or burned or driven to unconcienceness. All the good times and bad flowed through his head. The night had now arrived and its soft pale light illuminated everything in the yard. Its small fenced-in yard sat in the center of fields of long grass only bothered by the passing breeze. Night-birds fluttered by and the heat of the day had abandon the air leaving only the cool of the evening. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the fact that he was home once again. He took in a deep breath and savored the moment. Allahn was so sentimental at times he annoyed himself with feelings of longing and such. He was sinking into his daze when he heard the rustling of the grass. He opened his eyes and surveyed the yard. He saw the garden and all of its bounty. The flowers and vegatables only slightly touched by the breeze. He glanced to the other side of the cottage to the training area. Nothing grew there for the dirt had been so abused over the years. He left his bag were it was and walked over to the training area. As he rounded the corner he was surprised to find his master sitting in the dirt. He had his eyes closed and his face was serene and relaxed. Allahn knew that he was looking inward. A technique they used to hone their skills, or to just unwind. They sometimes ate bali seeds and entered a dream-like state which could be observed and studied. They could sometimes predict the future in this state as well, but it usually took a highly skilled master. He took a step forward and his master's eyes crept open. He let a small smile forward as he stood to greet Allahn.
" So you have returned Allahn." he chuckled as he stepped nearer to him. He looked at him from head to toe and made a small sniff.
" You smell ripe with energy my boy. I envy that vast store of energy in you, and you look stronger than when you left." He said stepping forward with open arms. He gave Allahn a short pat on the back and they began to walk back into the front yard. Allahn was so happy to see his master after such a long trip.
"How was your trip? I assume you had no trouble with the villagers?" he said beginning to ask about his travels. "I had a little trouble with the Uutura. They took three women and used them as bait to ambushed me. It was tough but I did them in and the women got out safely. There were a small few damages to the town that I helped them repair, and I dug them a trench and created a river to end their drought. I think I did a lot to help those people."He said as they turned and began walking to the door.
" Well, you are here and unscathed as far as I can see so I wager you did quite well without me." his master grumbled as they entered the house. He shut the door behind them. It looked like a completely different place on the inside ,compared to the outside. Various artifacts were displayed in glass cases and many weapons and paintings adorned the walls. Decades of adventures and gifts had been accumulated here and were enshrined as a reminder of heroes past achievments. It was dimmly lit inside the door.
" Yes, I think I did alright." Allahn said laying down his things. They entered into the sitting room. Allahn saw that nothing had changed in his abscense. He saw the unlit fireplace on the wall across the room. He pointed at the hearth and gave a hard snap. Instantly fire licked up onto the wood and started to burn, filling the room with subtle warmth.
His master sat and stroked his beard a bit . The faint light made his master's face look even more serious than it normally did. The years and years had not been the most charitable to his skin. He had many deep wrinkles creased all over. His brown beard had small patches of grey that hinted at his deep wealth of knowledge. It pleased him to see his master's look of approval.
" Very good my boy.I have trained you well. You have been a far better student than I could have ever asked for. " he chuckled again as he stood up. " I am very pleased with your progress. So now that you have been on a bigger task alone how do you think you are doing?"He moved over to the table and picked up a letter. "I think I am doing just fine at this moment. I do enjoy company though even though i'm not that great at making small conversation. I get a little paranoid if I am trying to sleep though." Allahn said walking over to his favorite chair next to the fireplace. He sat down and stared into the fire. He started to relax in the cusioned chair. His muscled ached from all the walking and labor from his previous journey. His master nodded and moved into the chair next to him. When he sat down once more his face had hardened back to a more serious look.
" Now that you have returned you can rest and we can train a bit. However, I must show you something I received a few days ago." He said unfolding the note. He handed the note to Allahn and told him to read it. Allahn took the note and realized immeadiatly that this was no friendly letter. This was a formal letter from a nobler class of man. The paper was thicker than normal parchment and it was written very well.
" To the renowned Master Quelon-of-Relan,
It is with great reluctance that we have decided to send you this notice. We are the city council of Naneela in Nima.
When he read the name Nima he stopped. " Master this letter is from Nima. Why would anyone from there be sending you anything I thought magic and people who practiced it were forbbiden?" Allahn was shocked that the letter had found it's way here. "Do not be so impatient my boy just read the letter it will explain itself." He said with a chuckle. After shaking off his haste he continued on.
Our city sits on the shores of a great lake. The lake has always been here, and we have always suffered the same misfortunes. We have never falteredl4 or abandon our city. However, our troubles have started to worsen here.
Though it is forbidden here by law, Magic is still present here in the water and the air. Thick clouds of mist and fog make the lake dangerous, and traversing it has become a nearly impossible. We have asked our king to act on this many times, but he only tells us to stay strong and endure as we always have.
We respected our kings order but we can no longer sit and do nothing. Life here is beginning to become to much for many of the citizens and many are starting to leave. We request that you journey here and help us resolve this. We know that your presence as a man of Relan is also forbidden in the lands of Nima, but we are willing to reward you very generously for your assistance in this matter. You would be doing us an almost unthankable task. The people of this city would owe you a debt and would be able to live in peace.Come and speak with us should you accept this request.
Good tidings to you
-Councilman Tano "
Allahn looked the letter over one more time and returned his attention to his master. After a pause he took a deep breath and spoke.
" We are to travel to Nima...... These people need us. And as men of change we have an obligation to the peoples of this world." He said standing up.
" We must risk the law there and help them. I will need to plot out our route there so we do not run into any complications with the kings rule. " he motioned for Allahn to follow him into the map room.
Candles set aflame and illuminated the room as they entered. Quelon scuttled over to a desk and opened up drawers and began combing through them. " Ah, here we are. "A detailed glance of the kingdom of Nima" this will have what we need." He said laying the book out on the table.
"Have you ever been to Nima on this sort of business before master?" Allahn asked looking over quelon's shoulder at the book.
"Actually, yes I have. It was a long time ago and the restriction of magic was not very well enforced at the time. My task was simple and easy, but these days that same task would have gotten me executed." He said turning the pages of a larger atlas to the map of Nima. He spread the map out on the desk and pointed to a lake in the more southeastern part of the land.
" This will be a very difficult task for us my boy. We have no clue what is burdening these people. Now what is one of the first things I taught you about preparation for something like this?" He said opening other books and scouring through the pages in search of information.
" Always be prepared to battle the threat at hand." he said. "But master if we dont know what we are facing off against how do we prepare for it?" he asked a little shocked.
Quelon finally found what he was looking for in the books and set them down.
" I am afraid I do not know what specifically to pack. On top of not knowing what to pack you must remember that we are trying not to be noticed as men of change. We must travel lightly and bring only what we need for the journey." he said taking a seat. " I see ,but if we can only bring what we need how do we know for sure what we need?" Allahn asked trying to think about it.
"Well I will not trouble you with all there is to think about tonight. You are tired and your mind is weary, why not go and get some reat. We will discuss it tomorrow in the morning and begin getting things ready." His master gave Allahn a quick glance from the book he was reading.
"Yes master, I agree. I will see you in the morning." he said turning to leave. He was so happy to finally be in the presence of his own bed. He skipped all the niceties if unpacking. He threw himself on the bed and tumbled headfirst into a well deserved sleep.
He awoke to the sun shining through his window. He changed and quickly returned to the map room to find his master. He was eager to start on this new adventure. When he did not find his master in the map room he stepped outside for some air. To his surprise his master was there. He was just standing in the front yard. He turned and saw Allahn. "Good morning my boy. How did you sleep last night?" he asked as he reached into his pockets.
" I slept well I think." Allahn stretched his arms up and yawned.
"Good, I have written a message to send to the Sheo for aid in this endevour." he said pulling a small rolled up note and a red whistle. He took the whistle in his mouth and put a loud call into the air.
"Why call the Sheo for help?" Allahn asked still half asleep.
"Well I did some research for awhile before I retired last night. I have decided that instead of scrambling over what to bring and what not to bring, we will just bring the necessities and bring a third companion." he said putting the whistle back into his pocket. He looked up into the sky and then turned back to Allahn.
" Yes, I think that is what is est at this moment in time." He said with a slight grin. He turned his gaze back to the open sky and sighed.
Allahn looked up with his master at the sister world. A few clouds dotted their own sky, and covered bits and pieces of the world above.
" It looks like there is a storm on the ocean up there." Allahn said nudging and pointing at a spiral of clouds that sat over it's oceans.
" Yes that looks to be so. I wonder if anybody is under that storm. It would be most unfortunate." he said surveying the sky. After a short silence something caught both their eyes. A large bird appeared over the tree line in the distance.
"Ah, there it is." Quelon said pointing at the bird. It was a messenger bird from the forest region of Lanitos. They were very well trained birds that had powerful senses and the speed to match. It closes in on them faster than the wind. It gave a loud call as it soared down to them. Quelon held out his arm and waited. With a few flaps of its great wings it gracefully landed on his arms. It made sublte noises as it bowed its head. Its beak had been altered for carrying messages. Three rings had been put into its beak for scrolls to be attached. Quelon leaned forward and began to whisper to the bird. He was so swift and sublte Allahn did not even see when he put the scroll on the rings.
"Go now Alavasta make haste!" he said throwing his arm into the air. The bird flapped its wings and soared away to the east faster than it had come.
"Now let us head inside I have a route laid out for us ." he said heading inside.
"The people of Nima are forced to live in a world without magic, you know this my young apprentice. Their King, Jirrahneh, has a strong hatred and fear of the magics of the world. His past family shared this fear and loathing and enacted a law that made magic punishable by pain of death." he stated reading over the information he had found the night before. He had laid out a new map that was smaller for travel.
" Yes master I know this. So how have you planned our trip? How are going to enter the land?" Allahn asked looking over all of the information he had mustered. His master handed him another map that was the same as his own.
" We are going to go through the land itself with very few stops." He said stroking his beard in thought. He looked up at the map on the wall and grunted.
" Even through we will be criminals crossing this land we must risk it.It will take far to long to go around to the south border and enter unnoticed.
So we shall have to be extra careful." He had the look of frustration folded into all of the creases on his face.
" Well when do you plan on leaving? I can be ready within a day?" Allahn asked, he showed concern on his face to mask his excitement about it. He had only been to Nima once and he was far to young to remember the time. The thought of being in a place full of peril made his blood rush. He loved a good challenge and the master's talk of being a fugative had ensnared him. He now wanted to set out once again.
After a pause of thought Quelon stood, and gave a sigh.
"We make for the town of Naneelam in 2 days. It will be an almost fourty to fifty day long trip but we will be making a few stops along the way, so it may be even longer still." Quelon said giving Allahn a hard stare. They now knew what they were in for and, with a rush of excitement buried in both of their hearts they started to prepare. Allahn got ready and headed for the door.
"Master I'm off to get some supplies I will be back soon." Allahn said as he sprinted off out the door to the west to the small town. Quelon headed inside and began preparations of his own.
As the sun set on this day Allahn returned with sacks full of supplies for the journey. He walked with new motivation in his steps. Allahn and his master would have to go east through the lands of Lanitos. Allahn loved traveling through the Towns and cities of the Sheo-kun. They were a very powerful and beautiful people. In addition to their vast cultural prowess they were extremely magically inclined. As they progress through their lives they have gemstones placed in the face for different things. Allahn absolutely loved seeing them. Being a student of Relan he had been there many times before to study magic with the Sheo-kun. He had already learned much from them and he had no doubt he would learn more on their upcoming trip.
He entered the house and laid down his bags. He took a seat and started to rest. His master entered the room and sat beside him.
" Thank you Allahn for the trip to town. I just do not relish the thought of socializing with the locals." He said with a grunt. They stared into the fire for a moment.
"Master, for someone who is meant to commit his life to helping others you have such a dislike for people." Allahn chuckled at his master's unsocial tendencies. He had been living with Quelon for about 6 years and knew his master very well. Quelon Dan Relan was very experienced in the ways of the world. So much that he was accepted as one of the twelve high masters of Relan. He visited the group every 3 years or so when they needed to. Masters normally take on two apprentices at the same time, but with Allahn it was easier to take one. He took on Allahn when he was 12 years old and changed him into a proud strong young man. Yet, Allahn still was very inexperienced and still needed his master's guidance. Yet, unlike his master,Allahn happily suffered guest and frequented the towns nearby to see the people. Master Quelon however, prefered the solitude that the plains of Bahlanag offered away from people. He did not favor the simple minded folk of the smaller towns very much at all, but he did help them whenever they asked no matter how insignificant the request was.
"You know well enough how I feel about people, and do not pretend to have forgotten. " he said with a scowl.
" I have not forgotten my master. I think it is time we went to bed." Alaahn stood with a smirk and a giggle and left the room. The master soon followed to his chambers and went to bed.
The next morning they both rose early and began working in preparation for the long walk ahead. Allahn worked on some of the crops while his master walked about inspecting things. He had to make sure he could leave his house for a long time without it falling into disrepair. He was working with magic to make the place strong and resistant against the weather among other things that needed doing. They worked all day and rested hard through the night.
They arose early the next day. Allahn paced about waiting for his master.
As he finally walked outside to Allahn he looked about into the air.
" I wonder if my message reached Sheo in time." He said with a worried tone.
"It is not wise to startle the Sheo-kun." Quelon said, they both laughed and took the first steps on their quest to Nima.
They started southeast and watched as the cottage fell behind the horizon. The sun was bright and the sister world was just as vivid. The wind gently rolled by them and rustled all of the grass as it pased. It was a long straight road until they would reach the borders of Lanitos. It was there that they will head farther south to the towns and villages of the Sheo. They both had amazing endurance when it came to walking. All men of Relan had this endurance. They could walk all day and night with only a moments rest. As apprentices men and women of Relan are made to wear a special shoe that makes their feet adjust more easily to all of the walking. There is a special reason for this. It is this way because the people of Relan are taught not to take advantage of animals unless it is absolutely needed. They understood animals and how they felt. A master will have to be put in a rough spot indeed to mount any sort of animal. Men of Relan were very in tune with nature and all it's splendor. They feel it deep within themselves.
It is in this splendor that the Relan drew their power. For you see Relan is not only a name, but a magic and a way of life. The word Relan means "Change" in the older tongues of the world. " Men of Relan" as they are known, are a symbol of the coming of change. People of the world need the men and women of Relan at all times. They wander the lands in search of people in need of change.
People usually pay, but few know that men of Relan do not actually ask for payment. Yet, when money is given it is greatly appreciated. The Relan are seen as peaceful people to most.It is often that men of Relan are welcome with open arms and are given small charities. People normally see Relan as a good omen to things like the crops and the weather.
The Relan themselves have realized their roles in the modern society and play their parts without question. Running to the aid of someone halfway acros the world if need be. It is rare to see a man of Relan turn down a cry for help, or a plea of change.
Yet, for all the good you hear about the Relan in the world there are places that feel so strongly against them. One of these few places is the country of Nima. As Passed by the kings of old, absolutely no magic or magical practices of the sort are to be permitted in the land of Nima. This law is very seriously enforced. When things do surface in the land that require that skilled hands of the Relan, it is done in high secrecy, for bringing magic into the land is punished usually by death. However, not all is so dull and dank in the land. It has rich culture and practices. Lavish festivals and happy holidays all throughout the year. The people are strong simple and as honest as they come. In the absence of magic the citizens have grown independent and proud. This makes life for the people of this land very happy and successful. However, there are things that the simple folk can not change. Though magic is forbidden, there are still naturally magical things in the land. There are dark things that only magic can resolve. When they rear their heads to the people of Nima it has free rain to do whatever it pleases, because no one is there to say no. Men and women of Relan are rare there, but are desperately needed.
" You said we would need a third body for this venture.....who did you have in mind master?" Allahn said in attempt to keep the silence away.
" Well, I am not sure yet. I sent a letter to the Sheo-kun and hopefully the will be willing to lend us somebody useful. If not we will make the trip by ourselves no harm done. I just think I will feel better once we have a little more company heading into this territory." He said taking a drink from his canteen.
" Any particular reason your asking the Sheo?" The continued on the straight road as his master answered.
" There is great assurance nothing will go too terribly wrong with one of the Sheo with us us. Their senses are more keen, their wealth of knowledge is far deeper than our own and they are much faster on their feet. They make good conversation too if that means anything." He chuckled at the last part of his answer. Allahn was awful at small talk on long walks. Once they stopped it was all well and good, but on the road it was better for him not to speak.
As he laughed at his apprentices inexperience with conversation they heard a familiar call. They looked up to see the silhouette of a messenger bird in the distance.
" Ah, they got my message after all." he grunted as the bird swooped down to land. Quelon held his arm out and watched as the large bird landed carefully on him. This bird was much bigger than earlier. It was a bird of the Sheo's inner forest. All animals there grew enormous and tall. Most were peaceful to people in the lands, but some could be vicious and very dangerous.
"Let us see what you have to say." he mumbled taking the letter from the ring on the beak. He unfurled the note and began reading. Allahn watched his face as he read. He folded the not back up and put it in his pocket. After thanking the bird in the Sheo tongue, he threw his arm up into the air and the bird launched into the sky and headed back east.
They looked at each other quickly.
" So what did they say?" Allahn was nearly fit to burst he was so eager to hear news from Sheo.
" They will hear of our task when we arrive, and we shall see about adding another to our company. However, they give us warning and wish us protection. For the borders are a dangerous place of late." Looking forward he stared in deep thought and wondered.
" What on this wide world is making them so uneasy?" He asked himself under breath. After a small pause they set off again, this time their pace faster. Quelon had grown to worry. What were they to encounter on the borders of Lanitos.
They continued for a long time after that without words. Allahn knew that his master was troubled in thought but said nothing to try and ease his worry.
The day drew to a close as the colors of the world changed from the bright greens of mid-day on the plains to darker shades of red and orange. Dusk had fallen on them when Quelon spoke.
" We stop here for the night. " they came off the road and laid down their burdens upon the grass beneath a lonely tree in the fields. Allahn knew that there would be no way to gather wood for a fire out here before they left, so he was clever enough to bring some along with him.
"Well aren't you on top of things." His master chuckled at him pulling a few pieces of wood out of a bag.
" Don't laugh at me, we shall have fire and this tree will be left alone." He said laying the wood down in a neat pile. He snapped his fingers and they watched the wood ignite and illuminate the spot. The flames gently rolled up and disappeared into the cool night air. It had been a long walk so far and neither one of them felt weary at all. Even though Allahn was not nearly as experienced as his master he could still endure the more physical parts of the trips they made. The sister world no longer hung over them in the sky. It was adorning the other side of the worlds' sky. Without the planet in the sky Allahn could see all of the stars in the sky. Billions and billions were cascaded about the darkness. His master sat down and looked up with him.
He sighed and then began to break the silence. "It will be a fifteen day walk to the Main city where we are to explain our situation to their council. We will likely approach the borders of Lanitos on the eleventh day. Then within the next four or five days we will enter the first of the Sheo- kun cities in the afternoon. And that is if we are lucky. I am still worried about what we are to encounter that the Sheo are so concerned about. Hopefully we will not be delayed." Quelon, with a nervous look glanced about and moved over to the lonely tree they now kept company. He leaned back against it and relaxed. The cool air had set them both in a sleepy mood.
" What do you think it is Master?" Allahn asked, his curiosity had peaked long before now. He had been holding his peace since they were informed of the troubles. His master sighed and looked at Allahn.
" I honestly have no idea what is going to be there. The Sheo never have trouble with the natural things of their domain here so it must be something foreign." He said stroking his beard. Allahn was excited at the idea of such a challenge but was a tad nervous about what it was. Whatever it was they would face it down together and head on. They both looked up. Through the leaves of the lonely tree the stars faintly shined through.
" Master do you think we will ever get to see the trees of the sister world?" Allahn said continuing to gaze at the sky.
" I doubt I will live to see that day my boy, but your generation has a different way of thinking. You are all much younger than you think. I mark so old an age this year it embarrasses me to say, but you are so so very young. I have think you will see it if you truly set your mind to it my very young apprentice. Always remember that, and nothing is impossible to you." He started a small smile as he laid his head back against the tree and began to doze off. He fell asleep quickly and began to snore a little.
" Thank you master." Allahn said as he too started to drift into sleep.
