Drifting

Drifting

A Poem by Ghiasquared

Momentary lapse of focus,
With residual zen-like states,
Synapses resetting from overload,
Sensory centers powering back up,

Mind resyncs with finely tuned precision,
Reality sets back in,
This life of humdrum situations,
With lack of colored conversations,

I have seen the sleeping visions,
They come to me unannounced,
Riding a cyber wave of pixels,
Visual cortex translates the verse,

Caught reading another post of ages,
Guard let down momentarily,
A jolt of dreamscapes in words,
Off drifting again...
