Extinguishing Dante

Extinguishing Dante

A Poem by Ghiasquared

The mindless numbing of clear thought,
With masses believing media's hypnotic spin,
Politics merely what leader's been bought,
No longer do we find our morality within,

Vestiges of peace clouded by greed,
Material wealth we are trained to seek,
Ignored are the pangs of spiritual needs,
Opened to all, our souls infested, of sin they reek,

Awaken from your sinful slumber,
With eyes opened we can reverse the flow,
For the demons come forth to tattoo your number,
Gather the young and take my hand, to utopia we go...
