Deserved blissA Poem by Ghiasquared
Her days ride upon the echoes of the lost,
Nights are filled with motherly drudgery, Heart of gold filled with compassion, Always at ready to help those in need, While her own life spirals out of control, Husband of self centered greed, She is blinded to her own strife, Shared unknowingly with those she lifts up, One day her due will come, Light streaming through the shadows, Breaking apart the binding guilt, And proving she is worthy of happiness, I back her with all my might, At defense in any hour, Brotherly love flows forth from me, As I wish her happiness upon this day. © 2010 Ghiasquared |
