Sinful lies

Sinful lies

A Poem by Ghiasquared

Locked behind walls of word that they speak for us,
Living blind to the lies that circulate around us,
Political fame and power corrupting our country,
Dragging us by our morals to certain wrong,
Media twisting our minds for ratings,
Others hating the mask that they see us wear,
Through reflections of broken mirror,
Their fractured vision through shadowed glass,
Gossip is the truth of today's reality,
Everyone believes the lies that fit their visions,
Only the truth seekers will be quieted,
And the warmongers allowed to roar...
