Trusted secrets

Trusted secrets

A Poem by Ghiasquared

Their cyber trails abandoned,
They leave me their electronic brains.
I repair the bits and bytes,
Settings changed, hope no one complains,
They trust me with their secret life.

Perusing for ill working slaves,
In their magnetic prison of steel.
I have the keys to unlock,
Deep dark secrets unsealed,
Flowing pixels reveal the bliss and strife.

Backing up their lives in code,
Digital memories of family and friends.
Even at times a taboo or two,
Everyone has their own digital sins,
As long as I'm mum to their wife.

I call with good tidings of repair,
They are excited to get back online.
They rush to my shop of wonders,
Payment received receipt they sign,
They trust me with their secret life.

I wonder if a little pile of secrets isn't good and healthy

and how nice that you get paid to protect them
