Imprisoned champion

Imprisoned champion

A Poem by Ghiasquared

On the prowl for evil tonight
I ride the wind on two wheeled steed
with cannons of steel ready to smite
search and destroy is my creed
I will hunt you down and punish you

You sit behind your veil of privacy
just another citizen or so it seems
you relish your harm like a legacy
you find it erotic as she screams
you pretend innocence but that's not true

I save the innocent that you mame
they are undeserving of this nightmare
I seek to destroy your game
I will crush the life out of you without a care
You will have no chance to wait on a jury

Your days are numbered as I seek
I retch at the photographic virus you have spread
tracked and found up the stairs I creep
through the portal innocence tied to the bed
I blast you with my hollowpoint fury

Black blood flows that none shall mourn
I turn to help her out of the nightmare
tears flow from her bruised, broken form
out into the night away from the lair
Innocence lost her spirit broken

I rush to the hospital with pain in tow
through the doors into nurses arms
waiting by her bedside machines aglow
she wakes crying out in alarm
mother is there with teddy as token

Father turns to me with tearing eyes
now their time to mend the pain
I leave into the wind and cry
the world is better for he is slain
he will no more commit his crimes

The laws of society find me wrong
yet I would do it again even facing death
my conviction of will is this strong
my sword would smite to the last breath
yet in this cell I merely count time
