She owns me

She owns me

A Poem by Ghiasquared

She wears the facade
Of her mother
Sweet and nurturing

Yet the father
lies underneath
cold and self served

I love her
I withstand
the onslaught

Like acid
She wears me
Away

I sustain with sin
Liquid gold
Like acid upon me

I cry out
To the night
As silence prevails

My soul is smoke
Upon muddyvwaters
Of this life

I chose to be here
And she shackles me
With my love
