Silly Girl

Silly Girl

A Poem by Gharam Al Sendi

What a silly girl.
You've always known you're not one to be loved.
He had told you in a previous conversation that he was incapable of loving a girl that lives 8,000 miles away.
You knew that he would never fall for you;
A heartsick girl
Who cries herself to sleep on most nights,
Mostly because she's lonely.
(How ironic)

He can't love her,
Because boys don't fall in love with sad girls...
