Cinderella's Shoe is a Lie

As children, we grow up

with high expectations of love.

we expect that we’ll meet someone,

they’ll be the perfect fit;

much like Cinderella’s glass shoe.

But as I recall, Cinderella’s shoe fell off.

If it was the perfect fit,

why did it fall off in the first place?
