Becoming a mother isn’t a mere thing at all

It begins with a deep sense of virtue

Not a function of the wedding gown or hall

Beyond childbearing and child rearing, it is about an attitude that is caring, lovely and true

                     

Like the biblical mother in Israel

Be a mother of reference, godly and worthy of emulation

Be full of noble character and be a role model beyond your Israel

Be the fairest among women, whose price is above rubies, full of admiration

 

Virtue and diligence shall recommend you

Good motherliness shall announce your worth

Be a home builder for it shall profit you

Instil the right virtues into your children during their years of growth

 

Be trustworthy and motherly, but don’t pamper                              

Teach your children to love the Lord plus folks around them

As the clock ticks, we shall remember

For you could also be a mother of relevance to them.
