We Lost out Power Time to take it Back Again

It's crippling We cannot Speak

You lost your Power when you were Young

You lost your Power their Programming Stung

We Lost our Power that's for Sure

We Lost our Power, no longer Pure

But we can Change All That

Yes, we can Change and Win it Back

We can Turn the Tables on Them

We can Turn it Around, Again and Again

It's time we take the Bull by the Horns

It's time to Comfort all those who Morn

It's Time to Tell them, Hell No

It's Time to Tell them, We won't Go

Time to Recapture what We've Lost

Time to Change no matter what the Cost

Time to Find the Truth burried deep Inside

Time to Stop Runnin', there's No where to Hide

We got to Dig below the Control

We got to Go find the Lovin' Soul

We got to Connect with the Spirit we've Lost

We got to Warm what we find covered in Frost

Lift your Voice and sets things Right

Strengthen your Will, get Ready to Fight

For the Darkness is Srpeadin' across this Land

And it's time Children to Make our Stand

We are not going Quietly into the Night

On our Freedom we have set our Sights

There Is no time for Crying Now

We've got to Win it Back, and we'll learn How

Let go of All they taught us in this Life

Let go now, before we are Lost to Strife

Let Go now, and just walk Away

Find your Place where you should Stay

Win it Back with your Own Strong Will

Win it Back by not taking that Pill

Win it Back by defying their Rule

Win it Back, know they are All Fools

Once you Begin you will Find

There's something Here, you are not Blind

All you got to do Child is Try

One Day you'll look back and just Sigh

I'm so glad I listened for the Signs

I'm so glad I changed for your sake and Mine

I'm so glad I Turned, before the End

I'm so glad I'm Free, and have had time to Mend

I don't think we lost our power, I think we gave it away to those whom we thought more powerful, dear poet. The power is still within us, we simply have to acknowledge its there within a deep well and draw from it when needed as we would draw water from a physical well. Life is a journey, a short one for some and a long one for others, but we all learn what we are meant to learn on the road of life and your poem indicates to me that you have learned SO much, dear poet. I love this poem, finely inked and feelings well expressed. I also love your AKA Healing Star. I feel it is very apt because your soul is brighter than the brightest star that ever shone and you have learned how to heal yourself through changing your thoughts, ideas, waking up to reality, living in awareness, etc. It is all clearly written within this wonderful poem.
