Might Lose My Heart

The Mystery of Life is sometimes only found in Death. I wrote this 9 years ago on FB found it today in FB memories

I might lose my Will

Might lose my Heart

I might lose my Gift

Might forget to Start

I might lose my Mind

Might lose it All

I might lose my Friend

Might not hear your Call

But what is there in all this World

That has not found it's way to Me

What is there in all this World

That could help me see more than I See

What is there I'd leave Behind

What place would I want to Forget

Only shadows when I lived Blind

I'll walk away with no Regret

For I lived the life that I was Meant

Wouldn't change a thing on my Canvas

So thankful for all that was Sent

Please light a candle in the Glass

When I lay down this shell of Clay

I'll see you weeping and I'll kiss your Cheek

Know that it's only my body, I won't Stay

I'll be gone to the place where we'll soon Meet

Don't be afraid to stand Alone

You've always been the strength of Me

We'll soon be together in a glorious Home

Where all know that they are Free
