[Healing Star]

I'll be 2 years shy of 70 this year Coyote - but I turned the Corner on my Depression after a 6 1/2 hour operation to remove my incredibly cancerous prostate all 12 samples in biopsy positive - but after 7 days of laying in bed most days and that 7 was the worst only got up twice. On the 8th I arose and stayed up and that night in bed on FB I typed in my first poem in a year, exactly to the day - and the poem is It's The Same Sky - the one just before Who AM I, and it was 6 months before that Year that I wrote the previous one. My depression was so bad, I did not care about a damn thing, grass grew High, my garage 0 try to find something and not get hurt, didin't care if I lived or died and I started thinking like, I wish my son in law had known me before, he never knew the real me. And I tell my wife - I don't know who was here with you in Michigan last year, that sure was not me, didn't do hardly anything on our farm - but this year is different 0 just today I mowed the ol' farm stead, the whole main yard and down at the River, around the sauna and the swimin' whole all cleaned up and ready for my kids and grand kids to come play. half of the grand kids will be here - starting this week into mid August 0 we gonna have a good time this summer, my daughter bought a house 2 years ago, last year was our first year at it, It is on Lake Superior and they put in a Barrel sauna this spring 0 had the first fire last night in it. thank you coyote for always readin' my stuff 0 you're a good man I can tell.
