We All Start Out

About finding our way on this path of Life.

You know we start Out

We all Start Out

We don't know what we Gonna Find

We start in the Dark all Blind

We walk a while, and stumble Too

Been a lot of Struggles more than a Few

Sometimes not knowin' which way is Up

We begin to Uncover what's been Covered Up

Sometimes we get so far Gone

We end up Dizzy what's gone Wrong

And Realize even in the Light We Find

That there too we can All go Blind

After some time spent on the Trail

We begin to see that everyone's Frail

And we all gotta learn to Balance it Out

We all come to know, Minds there spreadin' Doubt

We all can stumble on a rock or Two

Takes us time to get use to New Shoes

We gotta learn to laugh at it All

Give ourselves a break when we Fall

You know we start Out

We all Start Out

But right there with Each of Us

There are so many we gotta learn to Trust

For the Universe Sends just what we Need

When like Babies we just begin to Feed

They came to Me and shared their Love

Right from the Start like Heavenly Doves

I Still remember how my Eyes filled with Water

When they came, all the Sons and Daughters

When we develop confidence in what's there Inside

There's nothin' to Defend and nothin' to Hide

We see with New Eyes that don't need Light

We feel with New Hearts that have no Fright

No matter how long we walk these Trails

We always have to adjust learning from what Fails

Catching our Balance each time we teeter Between

What's brings us this way and that, find a Mean

You know we start Out

We all Start Out

After some time spent on the Trail

We begin to see that everyone's Frail

Maybe we should chew it again, like the Cow

Where are we Headin' does anyone Know

Maybe we should think, how should we Grow

Well, I thought a bit about it Today

You know it's okay if we want to Play

Cuz when we all get there no matter how Far

Is right where we Are, it's just how We'll See who We Are
