On My Way To Find Out

This is the title of a powerful song by Cat Stevens. I think of my Niece, who left us early, when I listen to this song. I wrote this while listening to it.

I've been on this Road all of my Life, the Road that Cat Stevens sings about in "I'm On The Road To Find Out".

It's all the same path, it's all the same Journey, its all for you to One day Find the One, the One that you Truly Are. And the final step always comes to this, To have the Courage to Step away from that Image of Yourself, that you've always known, and shaped and Built all through your Life. You need to step away from who you have always seen yourself to Be, leave the Stories that were never really yours, many of them are your parents and their ancestors, all the Beliefs that were at the heart, many of them based in Lies. So it's the Courage to allow that Self you have, your whole life, really believed was you, when it was not at All. And then just allow that One, that Incredible You that is within each of us, allow this One to move to the Front. And in years there will only be glowing embers of that one you thought you were, as all this is burned away, and from these ashes rises the Phoenix, your Phoenix Rising and spreading your Wings, Radiate, Radiate the Love of this One, this One, this Divine One, who lacks nothing, who walks through a Dark Forest knowing You are among Friends. Friends rooted into Mother, reaching to the Sun, spreading Branches, Branches of Hope, Branches of Love, Branches of Peace, Branches of Creativity. Our Closest relative on this Earth is the Tree. In these ways I just mentioned and in that what we breathe Out they Breathe In, and what They Breathe Out we Breathe In to Sustain us, to Rejuvenate us, If you are a Seed, It is Time to Be the Tree.
